Canadian Milos Raonic has arguably the best first serve in tennis history {apologies to fans of Pete Sampras and John Isner}. A lanky 6 ft 5 in with the legs of a 7-footer, Milos has made the Wimbledon finals. Milos' hair has its own Twitter handle and a large following.
⬆︎ This composite shows the stages in Raonic's serve. Like Pete Sampras, who he followed as a kid, Raonic uses a platform stance, has a deep leg bend, and an extremely rapid arm rotation around contact. To see this image full screen, click on the image, then maximize your browser to full screen.
